16th April 08 marks our 4th anniversary and now it'll mark another significant event... At 4.30pm, I had a little surprise in office... I had a flower delivery... a whooping bouquet of 99 SUPER ROSES! I had never been so happy and embarassed at the same time before!! The bouquet was so big and heavy that I couldn't even heave it up the lift without someone supporting it!! Jason appeared shortly after and wished me a "Happy Anniversary" and said that he have to dash off to a meeting...

His "meeting" turned out to be collecting the car from home and he had made reservations at Mezza9 at Grand Hyatt... Throughout dinner, I was like a little girl waiting for her candy.. I was constantly looking out for a passing waiter to bring something to surprise me... but nothing happened... I know that I seem very "desperate" to be proposed to... but its just that we were talking some time back that, when he proposes he must do it with a bouquet of 99.

After dinner, we took a drive back to my home... He turned the car into the nearby park, parked under a little tree, came out and opened my car door. He then led me to the nearby bench and sat down. He then started a conversation on how 4 years ago, we were at this exact spot where he asked me to be his girlfriend... He then knelt down and said "On this memorable day, I'm going to ask if you would be my wife.." And then is when the waterworks started going off... Maybe i was overcomed by emotions and happiness that I couldn't stop tearing... So thats it! 16th April marks the day where i said yes =)

On 21/08/08, I rope in my 8 buddies to help me to propose to my girlfriend of 2 years at Chu Chu Kang LOT 1 New York cafe. I have told her beforehand that its just a casual dinner and she least expected it to be a place for proposal.

After dinner at New York Cafe, I pretended to have a stomachache and made an excuse to the toilet. I rush down to the florist at Basement 1 and quickly collected my bouquet of 11 red roses. Seeing me coming in with a big bouqet, she just froze for a

second, then I sang the song "Yue Liang Dai Biao Wo De Xin" to her. Kneeling down, I asked "Would you marry me?". I guess she was too shocked, surprise and embarassed in front of so many people in public. A confirmation yes from her and I kiss her and took out my 0.39 caret Brilliant Rose Solitaire and helped her put it onto her finger. My friends clapped and congratulate us and give their blessings.

I and my beloved Shaleen have known each other for more than 2 years. The time to pop the question has come and I went to shop for a proposal ring. Finally I spotted the right one at Suntec. I had decided to ask for her hand on her birthday which was in April. We had a wonderful dinner at Tampines Mall and i the I suggested to go to the place where we first met which was at Changi Village.

As we strolled through the beach boardwalk, we reminisced on the past and shared the wonderful moments we went through. After

she blew the candles on the birthday cake, I knelt with 1 leg and presented her with a bouquet of flowers as well as the proposal ring. She was thrilled with tears and agreed to my proposal. I felt like I was the happiest man in Singapore at that moment and I will always cherish that memorable moment.

We embarked on our first snowy holiday to Hokkaido on February this year. It was a trip filled with excitement and anticipation as it was the first time we are experiencing snow. I would never had expected what he was about to do on the last day of the trip.

He suggested riding on snowmobile (snow jet) to view the magnificent snowy mountain and a scenery he promised that will capture our hearts forever. I agreed and we took the ride together in one snowmobile. He drove while I held on tightly behind him, captivated

by every fine snow that falls on my palm as wind blew gently towards us. As we drove pass spectacular scenery of a frozen lake with snowy trees, he turned back and shouted "Darling, will you marry me?" My very first reaction was "What?!?" Because of the howling wind, I couldn't hear. But at the second attempt, my heart paused that very moment. I was very surprised by the proposal. I couldn't speak and there lies a silent moment. But he was anxiously waiting for my reply and kept repeating "Will you please marry me?" Being a mischievous me, I told him I would only if he kneels down while driving the snowmobile. Well, he almost tried but of course I did not allow him to perform such dangerous stunts.

However we did fall off the snowmobile after awhile when he got too excited at knowing that I agreed to his proposal. Somehow, he missed the sharp turn and we landed on each other. There was hilarious laughter coming from the mountains!

A formal proposal followed after the mountain peak riding experience. I cut my fourth finger somehow and when we were back in the hotel room, he took a plaster to care for it. And while doing so, he conveniently and secretly slipped a ring onto my finger. I was "Wow over by his ingenious move". Subsequently, he kneeled down and said that there is a long race ahead of us. It is not going to be easy, but we will brave through it together while he promise to care for me forever. And he proposed again.

This is the most original and creative proposal that I could never imagine him doing so. It definitely melts my heart in the most amazing, heart warming way.

My husband to be, Benjamin Goh, surprised me in my bedroom by hiding the proposal ring under my soft toy. This may sound ordinary, but the proposal ring holds special meaning to us.

He has finally cleared off his credit card debts, and the first thing he bought with his extra cash, though on installments, is the wedding ring. To him, it means the decision to start making things better and wedding plans going. Instead of spending that little money he has on himself, he chose to

surprise me with a proposal ring. That ring, to us, till today, holds special meaning - it means his unselfish love he has for me, over himself.
