Thinking to hold my wedding at Holiday Inn Park View this coming Nov.
need your help & advise on the deco, food, service, etc.

Me also planning to hold my wedding banquet in Holiday inn park view.

I will go to have a site visit tonight, then will share with you my opinion.

What abt u?? Have u view the ballroom already?? What do you think of the place??

Hi aaronjas,

We went for viewing last night liao.

Quiet dissapointed with the orchid ballroom atmosphera, the silling is so low, dun think we will sign them up.

However, their bigger ballroom, which is crystal room looks much more nicer, the minimum table is 25, but even we will have so many table, the date we wanted is already taken. So, too bad.........

But their package is really comprehensive, i never come across any hotel they give free flow of beer during weekend banquet.

So good and bad points, depending on what you and your partner want.

Hope this will help you. I am going to Holiday Inn Atrium located at near outram park to have a look. Hope i can get one i like soon ;-)

We went to view the ballroom yesterday everning, quite dissapointed with the orchid ballroom atmosphera, the ceiling is so low, and the stage also so low. Thier building and the ballroom also looks old.

However, they got another bigger ballroom, which is crystal ballroom looks much more nicer but require min 25 tables. Think i will not sign up with them.

The good thing is about their package is really quite comprehensive with reasonable price, and the location also convenient. I never come across any hotel that provide free flow of beer during weekend banquet except this holiday inn park view.

So good and bad points, depending on what you and your partner want.

I am going to have a viewing to holiday inn atrium at outram park. Hope i will get one location that i fancy soon ;-)

are the pillars really blocking a lot of the view? How many tables are you considering to take? How many tables do you intend to have? Cos we're having about 30 tables so we might spill to the other two rooms. Oh.. another questions, is your AD in 08 or 09? Hehe.. so many questions, hope you dun mindSmile

I suppose they can have a better table arrange to minimize the blockage. Was thinking of having like 28 tables but after going thru my gest list I think might go up to 33 tables...max crystal room can hold upto 40 tables. My AD will be on 111108 heheee already reserved the date

Hi YCK,
Wah... very nice date for your AD! My friend actaully had her wedding there with 32 tables. She said it was pretty cramped for moving around to take pics. We hope not to exceed our 30 table limit *fingers crossed*. Were they easy to negotiate with? Cos we're not having alcohol at our wedding and hope to exchange the alcohol section for something good.
