I'm a ex-TED WU bride. Only comments is TED gown is STUNNING! He has an eye for embroidery and beading. If you are keen, i can email you my wedding white & evening gown he had designed.

I am a Ted Wu bride too.. will be going for my 1st fitting pretty soon. His designs are gorgeous... cant wait to see the final gowns.... Big Smile

what's the Ted Wu package like?

i had a friend who saw both Ted Wu and Emmanuel B, and decided on Emmanuel B. I think she liked what she saw at Emmanuel B, as Ted Wu's designs were too complex for her... although stunning... [:^)]

your friend took up with EB? is she going for a MTM or OTR package? errr..is she slim? sorry, dun mind me asking coz i have got a neighbour who took up with EB...she had a fantastic experience but when it was her friend's turn, it was a totally different story - trust me. other than encountering a lot of restrictions when coming down to her MTM requirements, shereceived quite a cold treatment as well. only difference is, my friend is very slim and her friend wasn't...anyway, heard that the designer @ EB likes slim girls... Sad

serious? hmm, ya my friend is slim... and pretty too... she looks a little eurasian although she's 100% chinese... go figure... she went for the MTM package...

actually choosing a bs is like choosing a boyfriend/husband, isn't it? Stick out tongue

really depends on how u click with the designer and coordinator... best to pop down to the bs and see for urself?

Me and my wife just got the package at EB. Seems ok to me. The designer, Elaine was very friendly and amicable. We are taking wedding gown OTR and MTM evening gown, so the price worked out to be around $2788~. So far EB was the only place other than Chrisling that was very friendly and approachable. My wife found a good bargain gown, worn only by the model for their show.

My wife is also slim...... [^o)]

i had tanyoong to design my dress.....he is pretty cool and his work is outstanding...and plus point is the material is light

Hi all,
Not considering the last 2 BS.
Am toying around with the idea of engaging Amanda Lee OR Silhouette.
I am confident of Amanda's work but alil wary of her tempermental nature. My good fren had no problems with her but her fren ( another Amanda Bride) complained about her attitude and her aloofness.

The ability to deliver stunning gowns is important but I believe it is also VERY important that the designer actually bothers and cares about his/her customer's opinoins.

Am still searching.... Wink

Silhouette was our first choice for the BS but their package is at the steep side. Without Photo package already around 4k.... But their gown and suit are really nice. I made my pants and shirt for my ROM there. Heath Yeo was very helpful, he suggested alot of good materials and different cuttings for me. If anyone would ask me where to custom make a nice suit, I would suggest Silhouette.

Hi purple monster,

Sure! Will mail to you tonite. My package includes:

1) mtm white & evening gown
2) flower bouquets for actual day
3) makeup for actual day & indoor/outdoor photoshoot
4) indoor/outdoor photoshoot by PHOTO LANGUAGE

Package cost: $5100
(TED WU packages varies depend on the photographer you choose & do not include man's suite - normal suit cost $400 & thai silk suit/tuxedo cost $700)
*These price are base from last year 2004, not very sure if they had made any changes.

TED is a very nice & friendly guy to work with. I will simply look forward to each & every meeting with him.

ive only visited 2 BSs - ted wu & silhouette n decided on silhouette within a week! all ive to say is, im looking every inch forward to working with them! my designer is minda n she's just so, SO nice.. so willing to help in all the areas i told her im concerned abt, even flowers though my aunt's gonna be the one helping me with them.

i agree that ted's gowns are lovely, afterall he's one of the top designers in spore. but u must really like embroidery + beadings. i realised after trying on some of his gowns that i dont.. at least not on my WG. the price quoted me was 4250 for MTM WG, EG, 2 bouquets of flowers (PS & AD) and MTM suit. liquidj's price includes photog Smile
