Thiha Tun, 30 and The Su Mon, 25
The couple met six years ago during a part-time job at The Fullerton Hotel. Thiha finally proposed to Su Mon after four years with a beautiful diamond ring. As Su Mon is from Yenangyaung in Myanmar and Thiha is from Yangon, Myanmar, the couple will have three wedding celebrations – one in each of their hometowns and one in Singapore at the hotel where they first met.
The couple will be celebrating their wedding at The Fullerton Hotel, Straits Room on 20 June 2010. |

Terence Hu, 27 and Rachel Wong, 27
It was love at first sight for Terence and Rachel. They met at Fuji Ice-Skating ring while out with friends. What really an impression on Rachel was when “Terence skated towards me, wanting to say ‘hi’ but he had landed on his buttocks before we could shake hands and speak to each other,” she says. After eight years of courtship, Terence proposed with a bouquet of Rachel’s favourite tulips and a cushion pillow that read: “Will you marry me?” together with a diamond ring.
The couple had their wedding at Grand Copthorne Waterfront on 31 January 2010. Their gowns are from Santiago Wedding Studio. |

Alex Lim , 27 and Adeline Chong, 23
After dating for four years, Alex proposed to Adeline during a Taipei 101 outdoor observatory event. “It was really cold out there and just when I was about to go back indoors, he persuaded me to stay a little longer,” says Adeline. Alex brought her to a corner and proposed to her. “I was really surprised. Also, my mother-in-law was actually filming us all the time. It was really special and lucky to have the proposal out there at 390m above ground and less than two degree Celsius!”
The couple had their wedding on 26 September 2009 at The Legends, Fort Canning (The Grand Marquee). Their gowns are from Graceful Image Bridal Boutique & Studio. |
