Gary and Joewell met each other through a mutual friend nine years ago, and since then they have become inseparable. Gary proposed on their eight-year anniversary with a sparkling diamond ring hidden in a Nintendo Wii Box.
They are having their wedding at Raffles Hotel on 21 November 2009. Their bridal outfits are from Vivi Bridal.
Henry Soon, 29 and Veron Chin, 29
The two were friends in junior colleague and in the same extra-circular activities in school, too. Over the years, Henry and Veron became good friends and continued to keep in touch with each other. However, sparks only flew two years ago and after a year of dating, Henry popped the question on their anniversary date!
The couple had their celebration at on 7 February 2009 at Peony Jade at Clarke Quay. Their photoshoot was done in Lijiang, China.
Darren Wee, 33 and Cara Puah, 29
Based in Shanghai, Darren and Cara were introduced by mutual friends while in China. Since then, their friendship grew and after a year of courtship, Darren proposed over dinner at Kobachi, Grand Hyatt Shanghai, which overlooked the night scene of Pudong. With a bouquet of red roses, he went on bent knee and
popped the question with a Cartier solitaire in his hand.
The couple had two wedding celebrations, with one in Singapore at Swissotel The Stamford on 21 March 2009, and a church wedding at Hengshan International Community Church followed by a lunch reception at Millennium Hongqiao Hotel in Shanghai on 25 April 2009.
