Recovered from the arctic lake, these diamonds are highly desirable and sought-after for its purity, beauty and brilliance. Created billions of years ago, the Polaris Ice Diamond possesses a spectacular inner fire and sparkle, heralding a world-class reputation with top-notch quality.
Precious Gems
Polaris Ice Diamonds are exceptionally precious as they are mined under extreme conditions deep beneath the magnificent Arctic Lake, Lac de Gras. Miners have to endure the intense coldness all year round of up to -60oC in winter. Access to the Polaris Ice Diamonds mine in the remote wilderness is only made possible by aircrafts and a specially constructed private ice road that is opened for a limited period each winter only.
Bejewelled Crown
On 25 November 2009, Soo Kee Jewellery and the other stars (Jessica Liu, Andrea de Cruz and Wong Li Lin), unveiled the breathtaking 8-carat Polaris Ice Diamond set on the top of the Polaris Ice Crown at Bugis Junction. This diamante crown is encrusted with 869 diamonds, totaling 40 carats, worth more than $1.2m.

In celebration of this festive season, a 6.6-metre tall
Polaris Ice Christmas Tree, inspired by the crown, is specially designed for you and your loved ones to take pictures with at Bugis Junction from now to 4 January 2010!
The Polaris Ice Diamond is available in all Soo Kee Jewellery showrooms.
